The Story Within

Sometimes all we need to do is listen.

Everyone has their own unique experience; their own path that they have walked, dreams that have been broken and made. I would like to help tackle some of the stigma that’s associated with mental health problems and raise awareness of LGBT youth’s services by sharing the experiences of the people who use them.

 

I want to show the person, not the label. I hope that sharing the personal stories from members of the LGBT community and people who suffer from mental health problems' will help to break the silence, highlighting how homophobia and stigma towards people with mental health problems can affect real people's lives.

A history of substance abuse, anger issues, and one tragic night that led to a prison sentence.  Thankfully, those days are behind him. You won't believe what he does now!
